QUALITY
YOU
CAN
FEEL

We are dedicated to using the highest-quality material for each pair of AO frames, resulting in glasses that feel just as good in your hand as they do on your face. Our frames are inspired by classic american styles, with clean modern lines.

SUN
GLASSES

Article One sunglasses are inspired by vintage American shapes, thoughtfully designed with a modern eye. The frames are all handmade in a family-owned factory in Northern Italy by true craftsman that take pride in their work. We use only the highest quality CR-39 sun lenses, which provide you with 100% UV protection.

ITALY

We believe you should know everything about a product that you spend money on. We not only publicly share our supply chain, we are also turning a spotlight on the hands that craft each pair of frames. The eyewear industry is admittedly murky in detail when it comes to manufacturing; we are here to bring a little clarity. Ethical labor is incredibly important to us, which is why we only manufacture in Italy, a country with laws that we can feel confident treat workers fairly.

THE FLINT COLLECTION
We care about Flint, MI - a city that is home to our headquarters and close to our hearts. We created The Flint Collection to support the city that has always supported us.
100% of the profits from these limited edition frames will be donated directly to FlintKids.org, an organization dedicated to long-term solutions for the health & development of Flint's youth in the wake of the water crisis.

DEDICATED
TO
INDEPENDENT
OPTICAL

Prescription eyeglasses are a medical device and should be thoroughly customized to ensure the best experience for the wearer, which is why we partner with local independent optical shops to best serve you. We are not only passionate about supporting small business, we believe it's incredibly important for glasses to work properly, meaning an optical professional should be involved from start to finish.
