Our Active sunglasses are produced with hexetate, a patented acrylic resin with superior technical and mechanical properties that allow for improved flexibility, enhanced shape memory even when exposed to high temperatures, a lighter weight, and added durability.
The Active sunglasses are constructed with CR39 polarized lenses with backside anti-reflective coating that blocks 100% of UVA/UVB rays and prevents road glare. The frames also boast our signature adjustable nose pads, rubber temple tips, and spring hinges.

After taking up running last year, I was on the hunt for sunglasses that are designed for sports but don’t look too sporty. The Moon frames are just that – delightfully vintage-inspired, casual-yet-chic. They’ve accompanied me on marathon-training long runs, beach days, and bike commutes that inevitably end up beer gardens. I have a round face and a low nose bridge and these frames still fit great!

I love my Moon frames in Vintage Blush Crystal with Brown Polarized lenses. However, the nose pads sit a bit too deep on the bridge for my smaller nose, causing some discomfort. Consequently, the sunglasses protrude further from my face than desired, leaving a noticeable gap. While I initially desired the Yellow Rose Crystal, it was out of stock. Nevertheless, the compliments I've received, especially with my darker complexion, motivate me to continue wearing them. Additionally, I wish the temple and nose pads provided better grip. In comparison, my experience with other Roka pairs has shown them to be significantly grippier, particularly during my military, athletic, and outdoor pursuits.

Frames are great (you can get a sense of the style pretty easily) but the silicone nosepads are a legitimate gamechanger!
